K.G.C.

KNIGHTS OF THE GOLDEN CIRCLE

There are a LOT of books  ( and magazine articles AND newsletter articles ! ) available that are about the KGC---or at least mention the KGC.  Some of these books are available to buy---either through the major internet book sellers ( like Amazon ) or EBAY.  Sometimes ( in the "classified ads" ) you can find some of the rarer editions for sale in the Treasure-related forums on the internet.

"The More You Read---The More You Learn ! "

If you REALLY want to learn about the KGC---and HOW to find their treasure !---you need to read books that might be "somehow" related.  I suggest books on:  Masons, Knights Templar, Civil War, Jesse James and Quantrill.  LOTS of clues to be collected !

In MY opinion the two "essential" books to read and own---if you want to learn about the KGC---are:

"SHADOW OF THE SENTINEL" by Warren Getler and Bob Brewer
AND
"JESSE JAMES WAS ONE OF HIS NAMES" by Del Schrader and Jesse James III

These two books will give you a good "working knowledge" of the KGC.

Two more very informational books about the KGC can be read about at:

Here are just a few of the books I have in my library:

THE HEAD OF GOD ( The Lost Treasure of the Templars ) by Keith Laidler

UNDER THE BLACK FLAG by Captain Kit Dalton

KNIGHTS OF THE GOLDEN CIRCLE, TREASON HISTORY, SONS OF LIBERTY, 1864

THE FREEMASONS ( A History of the World's Most Powerful Secret Society ) by Jasper Ridley

JESSE JAMES, LAST REBEL OF THE CIVIL WAR by T.J. Stiles

QUANTRILL'S WAR ( The Life and Times of Wm. Clarke Quantrill ) by Duane Schultz

I also have about ten other books on Jesse James and about 20 KGC magazine articles.  If you need further information on these books, please email me at:  AKGCKNIGHT@AOL.COM

Another GOOD source of KGC info is the old issues of TREASURE HUNTERS CONFIDENTIAL ( THC ).  They published for about ten years ( 1989-1999 ) and in their approximately 120 issues I have found 15 articles on the KGC.  Eventually I will detail the contents of those articles---on Page 9--MISC !

HOWARD DUFFY wrote at least three articles on the Knights of the Golden Circle for TREASURE magazine.  I'll also put that info on Page 9--MISC ! in the near future.

On April 22, 1973, the LOS ANGELES HERALD EXAMINER published a report by Del Schrader under the headline "$100 Billion in Treasure--The Search for Rebel Gold."  If anyone has that article---I'd like a copy, please.  Thanks !
